Dear Students and Parents,
It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the first batch of our College of Physiotherapy, with admissions commencing this October. This marks the beginning of an exciting journey towards building a centre of excellence in physiotherapy education and rehabilitation sciences.
Choosing a professional course is one of the most important decisions in a student’s life. At our institution, we are committed to providing all these and much more.
Our college is backed by PIOS Hospital, which started in 2001 with just five beds and has today grown into a modern multi-speciality teaching hospital with nearly 150 beds. The hospital provides advanced healthcare services in Orthopaedics, Joint Replacement, Arthroscopy, Trauma Care, General Medicine, General Surgery, Cardiology, CVTS, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Paediatric Surgery, and several other specialties. An additional 100-bed expansion is nearing completion.
Students will receive extensive clinical exposure from the early stages of their education. They will have the opportunity to learn from experienced consultants while managing a wide spectrum of orthopaedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, paediatric, geriatric, sports injury, and post-operative rehabilitation cases. This strong hospital support will help them develop excellent clinical skills, confidence, professionalism, and a patient-centred approach.
Our institution is committed to academic excellence through a team of highly qualified, experienced, and dedicated faculty members who will mentor students both inside and outside the classroom. Along with quality education, we provide separate, safe, and comfortable hostel facilities for boys and girls, ensuring a secure and supportive environment for students coming from different regions.
Education has always been our passion. We have successfully managed educational institutions for many years, including PIOS School, where more than 1,000 students receive quality education and systematic coaching for competitive examinations. We also run a dedicated academy in Bengaluru for NEET aspirants and have established GNM and B.Sc. Nursing Colleges, which have earned an excellent reputation for academic discipline, clinical training, and outstanding student outcomes. The College of Physiotherapy is another significant milestone in our continuing mission to develop competent healthcare professionals.
Looking ahead, our vision extends beyond physiotherapy education. We are planning to establish a comprehensive Cancer Hospital and Cancer Detection Centre, creating additional opportunities for advanced learning, research, and specialized rehabilitation training.
